Spiritual Care Australia - Best of Care Awards 2019

Who can enter?

SCA Members can nominate an individual or team who has made a real difference to the lives of those in their care:- patients, residents, their families, staff and others.

Excellence in the provision of care

A key objective of Spiritual Care Australia is to promote the wellbeing of Australians by the provision of chaplaincy, pastoral and spiritual care.

Outstanding Spiritual Care Practitioner

Nominate an outstanding chaplain, pastoral carer or spiritual carer you know who offers appropriate care and exhibits exceptional spiritual qualities, working to a high standard in their setting.

The nominee will demonstrate a particular quality that contributes to the overall care of those in their charge.

Do you know a remarkable person or team who matches this objective?

People who are spiritual carers are part of small and dedicated teams at the heart of Australia’s spiritual care programs. This may be delivered in institutions such as hospitals, aged care facilities, prisons and even in local communities. You can nominate an individual or a team for their outstanding dedication to spirit care.

Outstanding Team

Nominate a pastoral or spiritual care team that has demonstrated a particular contribution to the delivery of care by their special initiative or the quality of their work.

A team that shows willingness to care contributes to a healthier future for all Australians.
